The Who, Why and How

WHY : Because we ride hard and fast, slow and curvy. Through the crowds and cars, laughing as the auto-drones are clogged in the grid listening to cackling talk show radio dj’s. We make boards for the experience, the stoke, the idea that freedom is found in our surroundings, our back yards and streets.

WHO : Everyone at Rayne Longboards is involved in the riding community and our board designs reflect that. From pure downhilling to carving across campus, the unique shapes, moulds and material choices we use are specifically chosen to put smiles on the faces of everyone we ride with.

HOW : Rayne Longboards is a skater owned company based in Vancouver, BC. All of our boards are made in Canada using Canadian Maple, Bamboo and other choice materials ,by skateboarders with over 7 years of pressing experience and Produced using CNC (computer controlled) technology to make sure you get the highest quality and best performance in every single Rayne Longboard.

DESIGN PHILOSOPHY

Unlike other companies that simply put graphics on generic longboard decks and have bloated product lineups, we produce only a limited number of function specific decks and each one is made in painstaking detail on custom made CNC molds. In our minds there are 3 things that really make a phenomenal deck:

Purpose: Like people, boards have soul too. They need a purpose, vision and direction in life. We take care of the first two and the job of the third is up to you.

Performance:Each of our boards features custom concaves, cambers and styling to optimize rider ergonomics. The way you and your board work together to hit a state of zen is our business and expertise. No one else does it better and no one else updates their molds more than we do. On each run of boards we are constantly evolving our lineup through small, incremental steps.

Attitude: This is what really gives a board the final touches. We take pride in delivering not only the best riding boards but also the best looking boards on the market. Each year we’ve delivered a unique mix of graphics and you can count on us to keep the style alive.
